After children and adults left the library due to closing, teens met at the library meeting room to participate in the closing activities of the Teen Summer Reading Club Program.
Teens had a variety of activities to choose from such as watch a movie at the Reference area (SuckerPunch!), decorate t-shirts, play ping-pong at the Non-Fiction Area, or play board games.
At the conclusion of the Teen Lock-In, teens gathered in the meeting room to receive their Reading Club awards and Lock-In participation goodie bags. Every teen left the library with a book in hand and a new perception of their library... not a stodgy place to hangout.
Congratulations to all the teens that participated this year!
