On March 16th, teens found out kirigami is quite different from the popular origami. It required a bit of muscle and time to scour our templates. Once we got past the cutting and folding, we had some eye-pleasing animals. We used templates from the book, Kirigami Menagerie: 38 paper animals to copy, cut & fold, by Hiroshi Hayakawa. The book has beautiful photographs, clear instructions and plenty of templates. Once we were done with our masterpieces, we played the Wii and nibbled on some popcorn. At the end, we grabbed some board games such as Jenga and Pictionary.
Join us on April 20th for egg decorating @ 5:00pm-7:00pm.
