Over 300 people attended the Grand Opening. Speeches were made by Claudia Ordaz
(District 6 City Rep), Dionne Mack (Interim Director of Quality of
Life Departments), Margaret Neill (Interim Library Co-Director ),
Michelle Gutlove (creator of Helix Nebula art display), and Amenda
Rodriguez (Branch Manager of Irving Schwartz Library).
