This past Saturday, parents and children at our Ready to Read Family Storytime enjoyed some fun activites.
Families hunted for letter "Aa" words in our local newspaper. After the Hokey Pokey song ended, about seventy-seven words were found!
Also, children played letter basketball. With the help of their parents, a child wrote the first letter of a word on a piece of paper. Soon after, a child crumpled their paper and attempted to toss it into our recycling bin.
At the end, children learned to fold the "Moth" paper airplane and had the opportunity to fly it in our children's area.
